How many tertiary colours are there in the RGB colour model?

There are 6 tertiary colours in the RGB colour model. Each one is created by mixing equal amounts of a primary colour (red, green, or blue) with an adjacent secondary colour (cyan, magenta, or yellow).

The resulting tertiary colours are red-orange, yellow-orange, yellow-green, cyan-green, blue-violet, and magenta-violet.
